Year 11 Exam Results 2018
Action following receipt of your exam results.
If you are happy with your results, congratulations, we hope you have had a good summer break and we look forward to seeing you in September or wish you well on life’s journey if you are not joining us in the 6th Form.
Please click on this link to inform us of your destination if you are not joining us in the 6th form. You will have to sign in with your school google credentials before you can complete this form.
For all Vyners School students, if you have achieved the required grades and are not intending to change your option choices, you will be able to fast track your enrolment on results day.
If your results, or thoughts over the summer, have caused you to change your mind on which options you want to take in Year 12, and you meet the entry requirements for those subjects, as shown in this brochure , then please enrol on Exam Results Day Thursday 23rd August.
If you originally intended to leave but now wish to apply for a place in Vyners Sixth Form, please also review the brochure and enrol on Thursday 23rd August.
External students should attend enrolment day on Thursday 23rd August from 10am - 2pm, and Friday 24th August from 9am - 12pm. If this is not possible there will be an opportunity to enrol on Monday 3rd September from 1pm - 3pm. You will need to bring a copy of your results and a copy of your valid passport or birth certificate.
Appointment to see a member of the Sixth Form team
School is closed until the first day of the Autumn term, Monday 3rd September. Please note that neither 6th Form staff nor your Year Leader will be able to respond to any emails until this date.
However if you need to discuss your results and next steps before then, other than to change option subjects as noted above, then a member of the Sixth Form team will be available on Friday 24th August between 9am and 12am. You will need to make an appointment at reception on results day.
Remark of exam papers
If your mark is a long way off the grade boundary, then a request for a remark is very unlikely to result in a change to your grade. If you are 1 or 2 marks off the grade boundary, then a remark might result in your grade changing. However, exam boards do check the marking of those papers that are very close to the grade boundaries before the results are released, so do not expect a request for a remark to change your grade.

If you would like to have any of your exam papers remarked, a request will need to be made by Monday 17th September 2018. Please complete this form and return with the appropriate fee, as indicated on the bottom of the form.
Access to exam papers
Students may want to see their scripts for various reasons; to see how it has been marked as part of the application to have a remark, or to keep as a record of their achievement.
Request forms will need to be submitted to the Examination officer by Tuesday 2nd October. Please complete this form and return with the appropriate fee as indicated on the form.
Please note that after the original papers have been returned it is not possible to have a remark as the papers could be altered.
Collection of Certificates
Certificates arrive in school towards the end of the Autumn Term
If you have joined the Sixth Form then these will need to be collected from the Exams Office when directed by your form tutor.
If you have left the school then your certificates should be collected from reception in the last two weeks of term 10 – 21 December 2018. If you are unable to collect your certificates personally, they may be collected by someone else, as long as they have a letter of authorisation from you.
