Ofsted

Our last full Ofsted inspection was in December 2013, which judged the school as being 'good with outstanding features’

The report reflected the hard work and professionalism of the whole school community and was achieved within a much more rigorous and challenging inspection framework.   It was pleasing that the improvements to the school were recognised by the inspection team.  The inspection team were also particularly impressed by the exemplary behaviour and manners exhibited by our students, their engagement in lessons and their pride in the school.

Since 2013, progress and outcomes have risen further and have been sustained. This was confirmed by Ofsted when they re-visited in February 2018 under the 'short' inspection framework for 'Good' schools.  The Inspection team in 2018 concluded that we have demonstrated strong practice and marked improvement in certain areas since 2013.  As a school, we look forward to our next full inspection, where we are confident that we will be able to demonstrate we are truly an outstanding school.

The 2013 and 2018 reports are both below.  We continue to be keen to receive feedback from our parents. If you have not already done so, we would greatly appreciate hearing your views via the Department for Education ParentView website - www.parentview.ofsted.gov.uk.  The survey takes only a few minutes to complete.
