Musical Instrument Purchase Scheme

The AIPS (Assisted Instrument Purchase Scheme) is a way for students to buy their instruments VAT free.
The instrument purchase is made via the school, which is allowed to claim the VAT back from HMRC.  Parents pay the net cost of the instrument to the school.

Parents may select any instrument they feel is appropriate for their child, from any supplier who participates in the scheme.  We have included a number of suggested suppliers below - however, parents are not limited to the ones suggested.

Should you wish to participate in the scheme, please contact Mr Cullum, Subject Leader for Music to alert him to your interest.  Mr Cullum would be happy to advise on an appropriate purchase for your child.
