Bumper A2 and AS level results !

Vyners students enjoy bumper results !

Congratulations to our Year 12 and 13 students for achieving outstanding A Level results. We are particularly proud of our Year 13 students who achieved the school's best results for five years.

Vyners students have bucked the trend, reported in the news yesterday; whilst nationally, the number of students achieving A* - A has declined for the second year running, we have achieved a 6% rise in those achieving the top grades with 34% of all grades, A* or A. Ten Year 13 students achieved A*-A grades in all their subjects.

The majority of students have now been accepted by their first choice universities, and our Head Girl, Beth Kume-Holland has now secured her place at Oxford University to read History, whilst Jess Griffiths is heading to Cambridge University to read Natural Sciences.

Year 12 AS grades also saw a big improvement and we look forward to welcoming them all back in September.

Thank you to the parents for their support and our outstanding staff that have supported the Yr12 and 13 students.

GCSE results will be available for collection at 10am from the school hall on Thursday 22nd August.
