EXAMINATIONS ADMINISTRATOR

Salary:    £15,347    (average of 22.5 hrs a week)
4 hrs daily rising to 7 hrs daily during exam periods.    Actual Hours:  11am - 3pm during 4 hour day and 8.00am - 3.30pm during examination period
Term time + 5 INSET + 8 days in August

An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint an Administrator to support the Examination team.  The successful applicant will provide an efficient administrative service and this role is an ideal opportunity for experienced, confident and proactive candidates who wish to develop their school experience.  However, previous experience of working in a school office environment is desirable but not essential.  There is variance in weekly working hours, dependent on the annual examination timetable.  For most of the academic year, the postholder will work 4 hours a day, increasing to 7 hours a day during the 6 week exam period.

Vyners is a very popular and oversubscribed mixed eight form entry, 11-18 comprehensive school, situated in a pleasant residential area in North West London, bordering Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.    We have a track record of real success at all Key Stages.  The school converted to academy status on 1 November 2011 and is part of the Vanguard Learning Trust which also includes one other secondary and three primary schools.

  • Flexibility and adaptability with the ability to think quickly and respond appropriately to the unexpected occurring in the exam venues.
